Geographically Georgia is located on the crossroads between Europe and Asia, in the Caucasus. In the West it is washed by the Black Sea, from the North it borders with Russian Federation, from the South -East – with Azerbaijan, from the South- with Armenia and Turkey.
The Europe –Asia transport route was led through this way – the old Silk Road.
